13 inch Air cleaner / Filter

Round air filters 13 inch, 11.5, 10, 8.5 and 6.5 inch air filter / cleaner.
Round Air cleaners:- Ford Racing 13 inch, Morso Flat Base 11.5 inch, Transdapt Flat Base 10 inch, Moroso Flat Base 8.5 inch and Mr Gasket Deep-Dish 6.5inch
Tech Tip: If you are using a Holley carb,try to keep the air-cleaner top plate,at least 1/2inch away from the tops of the two vertical vent pipes set in the top of the carb, otherwise,the engine will run very badly. The pipes could be shortened a little, but you would need to clear all the filings out afterwards. A good selection to choose from including Moroso, Edelbrock, Holley, Mr Gasket.

This 13 inch air cleaner is more suited to the Ford V8 engine, as the distance between the distributor and the carb mounting stud on the carb, is not really great enough for a drop-base 14 inch version. Comes with PCV connection & Ford wing nut. The mounting stud can be purchased using the number KIT 800. To allow the air cleaner to sink down around the carburetor, the bottom pan is deeply dished. The element is a replaceable paper element. Fits a 4 barrel carb with the common 5-1/8 ” top platform..Height required from the carb platform to the top of the air-cleaner is approximately 74mm.The wing nut is clear of the top a further 16mm. Chrome plated steel with Ford Racing on the top.

Fits a 4 barrel carb with the common 5-1/8 inch top platform..Height required from the carb platform to the top of the air cleaner is approximately 54mm.The wing nut is clear of the top a further 8mm. Chrome plated steel with no name on the top.
