Dual plane, low rise intake manifold with a 180 degree firing order. The runner design improves torque over a wide rpm range, especially off-idle through the mid-range. Throttle response is excellent. PP-BY2101E is designed for street 262 to 400 engines, up to 1986. 1987 and on with OEM aluminium heads. Will not fit later cast iron. PP-BY2104 fits 87-95 cast iron heads with canted centre bolts. The manifolds accept late model choke,A/C, alternator and HEI.

Designed for street 396 to 454 engines (non EGR) , using general duty oval-port heads. Will not fit `tall block` V8`s. Will not for Corvette without modifying bonnet. May be used with OEM or aftermarket carbs. The manifold is standard for 396-454 engines 1965-72 passenger cars, as well as 1966-83 non EGR trucks. Will fit both early and late model heads. Accepts 1986 -on waterneck adapter.

Excellent for street to drag and circle track racing. Provides max performance for engines with std port location, iron and aluminium heads. Plenty of material is left at the intake port, allowing the manifold to be port matched with small port cylinder heads. The low profile enables its use where there is minimal bonnet clearance and where 1” or 2” spacers can be used for tuning.

Features include extended runner dividers, smaller plenum chambers and unique runner design for better 60ft times and max. horsepower from 3000 to 7500 rpm.

ACTION PLUS SERIES
The Action Plus manifold was introduced in 1980. It is a 180 degree dual plane design, with improved power and torque over the standard manifold. The effective rpm range is off idle to approx 5500rpm. Drilled for square bore aftermarket carburetors.

Designed for heads with a std port location, the runners match the ”flat floor” of the latest 23 degree heads. Carb mount is 5.5” from the end seals. Overall it is about 1” taller than the Victor Jnr. Runners have a 2.8sq in cross section.

ARP

Features: 12 point heads. Wide underhead flange & companion washers provide even load distribution. Precision rolled threads prevent galling while promoting more consistent torque loading. Available in a black oxide chrome moly finish, or corrosion resistant stainless steel. Rated at 170,000 psi tensile strength.

Fitting a lifter baffle can increase BHP by shielding the bottom of the inlet manifold from hot oil, helps maintain oil pressure (during pushrod or rocker arm failure, by keeping lifters in their bores, except with roller cams). Due to slight variations in the block, the baffle may have to be trimmed .060” to .100”.
